We got the keys on the 1st of September and drove over the first couple of boxes to the new apartment. We visited IKEA on the same day to purchase a few mattresses that we slept on that weekend. The 2nd of September we moved the rest of our stuff together with a bunch of our good friends. When everything was out of the old apartment and in to the new, we rewarded the gang with beer and pizza.

Moving from an apartment that is 43 square meter to one that is 94 (which also has an 9 square meter balcony) is almost unreal. We have so much space here that we are just walking around in some kind of zombie mode feeling the space. When we pass each other on our indoor walks we stop, look at each other and burst out "It's so big!" that's what she said

Roadtrip

Stockholm - Grvelsjn - Trondheim - Verdal - Brnnysund - Stockholm.

Stockholm - Grvelsjn - Trondheim - Verdal - Brnnysund - Stockholm. That is how our route looked on our roadtrip to Norway that we went on the two first weeks of August. Our last holiday weeks this summer. We spent the first night tenting in Grvelsjn before we climbed a mountain that I can't remember the name of (just by the border in Norway) the following day. The view from the top was magnificent. We were supposed to sleep in the tent also the second night, but after a very cold first night we decided to start driving towards Trondheim, through Rros, and sleep in the car along the way.

We got to see a lot of Trondheim as we were walking around for hours. Erik had been once before, when he was a young boy, but he did not really remember much. It was nice getting to show him around (not that I by any means are a qualified Trondheim guide...), and we both really fell for the old district called Bakklandet. We had no crazy party night in Trondheim as we were so tired after the two previous nights so we went straight to bed after eating dinner at Sstrene Karlsen.

Now it was time to go home to where I came from. In other words, next destination was Verdal. We were greeted by mum, dad, my little brother Odd-Levi and the newest member in the family, Sagan. The little puppy quickly grew fond of both me and Erik and it was so nice taking walks, playing and cuddling together the three days we were there.

Finally the time came to head in direction of Brnnysund which was the last stop on our roadtrip. We had a pitstop in Namsos along the way, where Erik got to meet my grandma for the first time. She served up coffee and cakes and we sat there talking about all and nothing a couple of hours. It was nice. Then we continued to Brnnysund, where my sister and her family (husband and daughter) lives. We had not met in a year, so it was no nice seeing them again.

Aunties little lump of gold had become so big over the last 12 months and was a bit shy to begin with. But it did not take long before playing with auntie and uncle became very fun. We also got to see plenty of stunning nature whilst there. One day we went to the island of Vega and another we climbed Torghatten. We spent the evening playing board games and just had a really nice time together.

After about a week and half on the road it was time to go back home. We got into the Audi and drove to Stockholm in a day. It took time, but with a few pitstops along the way the journey felt surprisingly fast and comfortable.
